Soapstone Blue Jay

Elevate your decor with the vibrant beauty of our Blue Jay Soapstone sculpture, meticulously hand-carved by the talented artisans of the Tabaka women's cooperative in Kenya. Established with the noble goal of alleviating hardship in the Kisii region, this cooperative thrives on the principles of fair trade, providing its members with fair wages and access to international markets through partnerships with organizations like Mr. Ellie Pooh. Standing 3 to 4 inches tall, this figurine captures the essence of the blue jay's lively spirit and striking coloration, making it an ideal decorative piece that doubles as a functional paperweight. It's the perfect addition to any office, study, or living space, offering a touch of natural beauty and a conversation starter for guests.
